ABA is a scientific approach to understanding and changing behavior. It is based on the principles of learning and behavior, and it's goal is to systematically apply interventions to improve socially significant behaviors with a focus on learning difficulties, developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges to improve quality of life.
The professionals at Center for Autism and Behavioral Interventions are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). BCBAs are those who oversee and plan for your child's goals and success. BCBAs typically need to have a graduate degree (master's or doctoral) in behavior analysis or a related field, such as psychology or education. Additionally, candidates must accumulate supervised practical experience in the field, and they must pass the BCBA examination. Direct therapists working with your children are RBTs who have extensive training, a certified license to practice, and experience working with individuals and families. RBTs are under the supervision of BCBAs to ensure optimal services for you!
Center for Autism and Behavior Intervention provides ABA services for children under 10 years of age.
Most insurances require a diagnosis of autism or a disorder to financially cover ABA services. However, we do provide services for private pay clients. If you would like to explore this option and rates, contact us to access more information.
